Its been awhile!

Sorry its been so long! Well, we've had a busy few months. A week after my brother left, we had my cousin Bridget, and family from California here for a visit. We hit some great Tucson attractions, The sonoran desert museum, Old Tucson studios, Apple annies and The Tucson Zoo. Her husband Matt and Ethan went back to California a few days later then Bridget, Bella, Peyton and I drove to the Colorado river where there was a big Cousins reunion. We all had such great fun and Peyton got to ride on a jet ski for the first time! He couldnt get enough and loved going fast! We also went out on the boat and did some floating around....good times!

Ernie went TDY to Hawaii for 3 weeks in September for the National Guard , I stayed here to hold up the fort...LOL! I actually concidered going but it just didnt work out. Oh well! We were there last year and will probably go again next year! Ernie had good fun though and got to see an island (oahu) that he had never been to. He enjoyed going deep sea fishing and seeing Pearl Harbor memorial, He didnt care for the crowds at waikiki or in Honolulu but enjoyed going to North shore on the other side to hang on the beach with friends.

Peyton has really been enjoying school! He is a great reader and loves reading books to me! He is in accelerated reading at school, we go to the school library and read books then he goes to the computer and answers some comprehension questions. He is doing very well!
He took an after-school art class for 2 months and loved it so much that he begged to do the next session. So I of course signed him up and that starts next week. Right now he just joined the after-school fitness club that meets for 90 min after school on tuesdays. He just loves it!

The weather is finally cooling off and we have been outside alot. I finally got a bike and Peyton and I have been riding around almost every day. He is a great rider and has been without training wheels for a year now. He is so fast! We have great streets and a path close to our house so we can go out for long rides. We also ride bikes to school a few times a week. It is 1.6 miles to school so not far at all.

Peyton is very excited about halloween, he will be wolverine from the X-men this year. We are going to the Annual "worms and tumors" party at our friends house, should be great fun as always!
